Bob Flynn  |    Founder, Principal Consultant

Bob Flynn has 20 years of experience in Research and Development in oneM2M and 3GPP global standards.  He is an Internet of Things expert, recognized for his ability to architect solutions for clients to meet project needs.  As Founder of Exacta, Bob is leading the architecture and design of a oneM2M software stack for cloud and cellular devices.

Prior to Exacta, Bob was an Architect for oneM2M at Chordant, where he headed the oneM2M component of Chordant’s oneTransport project and the incubation of interworking oneM2M with 3GPP 4G/5G IoT capabilities. Bob is a delegate at oneM2M standards meetings where he makes contributions to most of the working groups and main technical specifications.  Before Chordant, Bob was a Member of Technical Staff with InterDigital, where he authored or coauthored over 60 patent applications and was a recipient of the oneM2M Technical Excellence Award in 2018.  His career history also includes roles as Technical Lead and Software Developer at InterDigital and a variety of assignments in the Engineering Leadership Development Program at Lockheed Martin.
